Papillon Bleu SignatureAcne Scar Treatment
with Subcision

While there are many options to treat Acne Scars, our Signature Papillon Bleu Acne Scar Treatment with subcision using combination therapy is the most effective. The treatment includes Subcision and Fractional laser along with traditional Microneedling or RF Microneedling.

Using these three minimally invasive modalities helps release and remodel the scars and enhances collagen induction.

Treatment Options

Subcision for acne scar treatment

If you have concerns with severe and deeply depressed acne scars ( also known as ice-pick or car box scars), acne scar treatment with subcision procedure could be the best acne scar treatment available for it. During the subcision treatment, a specially designed needle or a blunt cannula is used to break the fibrotic strands that tether the depressed scar to the underlying tissue. This minor surgical procedure aims to release the scar and improve its appearance. This treatment needs to be used with other treatments to stimulate regeneration of new and regular collagen for maximum efficacy.

Potenza, RF Microneedling

Acne scar treatment at Papillon Bleu Aesthetics

Acne scar treatment with subcision package includes regular or RF microneedling. The Potenza RF microneedling treatment uses ultrafine needles and radiofrequency (RF) energy to penetrate the top layer of the skin and trigger the body’s natural healing process to regenerate new collagen and elastin to improve the scars. Unlike some laser treatments, these treatments can be performed on all skin types, anywhere on the body and anytime of the year.

  • What to expect after dermal fillers?
After receiving dermal fillers, you can expect some mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, which typically subsides within a few days. Results are usually visible immediately but may improve over the following weeks as any initial swelling resolves. It's important to avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and alcohol consumption for the first 24-48 hours post-treatment. Additionally, follow any specific aftercare instructions provided by your provider, and attend any recommended follow-up appointments for optimal results.
  • Do dermal fillers hurt?
At Papillon Bleu, we prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction by employing topical numbing agents and utilizing cannulas for select filler treatments. These measures ensure a smooth and comfortable experience, minimizing any discomfort for our patients
  • Are dermal fillers permanent?
Dermal fillers offer temporary but enduring skin volumization. To sustain your results, follow-up appointments are necessary, typically ranging from every 4 to 18 months based on the filler brand and formulation. Our physician will inform you when it is needed to come back again for further administration of HA fillers. Certain fillers may stimulate collagen production, extending results for up to a year or longer.
  • Can I get dermal fillers and botox at the same time?
Yes! Combining Botox with your injectable regimen offers dual benefits for anti-aging. Botox, a neuromodulator, temporarily inhibits specific muscle movements in the upper face, effectively smoothing lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions. By relaxing these muscles, Botox ensures smoother skin in areas such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, and glabellar lines. Both Botox and dermal fillers can be administered during the same appointment, subject to your suitability for each treatment.
  • When will I see the results from dermal fillers?
The effects of your filler treatment become immediately visible, rendering your skin smoother, lips fuller, and cheeks plumper. With injectables, there's no downtime, allowing you to promptly return to your regular activities following your dermal filler session at Papillon Bleu Aesthetics. However, please avoid saunas and hot tubs for the first couple of days to ensure optimal results.
  • What are dermal fillers made of?
Papillon Bleu, we take pride in using Teoxane fillers, which are crafted primarily from cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural component of the skin. Teoxane employs its patented RHA® (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) technology to fortify the filler's durability and longevity within the skin. These fillers may also incorporate lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to ensure a more comfortable injection experience.

Papillon Bleu Signature Acne scar Treatment with Subcision also includes Fractional laser. Fractional laser is one of the most efficient treatments for skin resurfacing and acne scar treatment. We use a non-invasive non-ablative Erb-YAG fractional laser which make this procedure very safe with minimal side effects and downtime.
